The manager mode looks pretty cool. Not too enthused about the "get married and have kids" angle, but having to deal with the owner's demands should be fun. Just hope it's not as repetitive in that regard as NCAA 2003. -

Really? OOTP4 is $20 right now, so i just assumed 5 would be also. That's disappointing to hear though. I'm low on funds right now, so that may prevent me from picking it up, at least right away.

OOTP4 just dropped in price. I think OOTP5 will be $34.95, at least that's what I read last week on their boards.Comment

Re: Hey where are all the Out of the Park 5 fans?
According to what i've read on the boards, this is an option that can be turned off, so I wouldnt worry too much about having to deal with that. I'm definetely gonna give that aspect of the game a shot though. Should give solo leagues some more depth. I'm still playing OOTP4, cant wait for the new one!Comment

Re: Hey where are all the Out of the Park 5 fans?
1. OOTP5 will be 34.95 downloaded. I believe 10 dollars more for those ordering a cd version of the game.
2. The "have kids" bit is optional. You can choose to ignore it. It doesn't have a huge affect on gameplay whether you use it or not. The idea was to allow the user to feel more like the manager by being involved in his personal life. This is the future of gaming. Makes no sense to be upset over a minute detail that doesn't affect the game."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
