HH2004 on X-Box - will the 3rd out bug be fixed?

What are the odds that 3DO will be able to fix the runner-scoring-from-third-before-the-flyball-is-actually-caught-for-the-out bug? I am going to have to assume this will be in the X-Box version as well, as it is awfully late in the game to get such a fix done. Unless the release date is moved back, I am betting the bug will be in the game, which makes it a no-buy for me. And it was the game I was looking most forward to! Any type of response from 3DO yet about the bug in the PS2 version?
    NCAA: Michigan Wolverines
    MLB: St. Louis Cardinals
    NHL: St. Louis Blues
    NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
    EPL: Liverpool Reds

I am SO glad that the PS2 people are the guinea pigs. That bug is UGLY if true. This absolutely helps narrow down my choices. This is a great site to get pertinent info from!

It won't be fixed, the XBOX version is a port from PS2, so, forget about it, if the bug is real [I don't think so] WILL BE on the XBOX version, this game is out on February, baseball season start on April, so, they have plenty of time to fixed and they didn't, maybe is not a bug, and is hapening under some arcade settings, let see.

It has happened to me twice on the default settings.

And they could fix the problem, the Xbox version has a couple weeks of extra time, just cause it's a port doesn't mean they won't fix it before it goes gold. Hell they may even fix the PS2 version and use that for all future copies, if they think it is a bad enough bug. I know Sega has done this in Japan a few times.
