OOPT5??

What is this. OOPT5??? I have heard everybody speak of it. I just got to these boards like a week or two ago and alot of people are talkin about it. What is it?? I know its a baseball game....i think. Could someone give me some info.what console and just info.thanx

OOTP (Out of the Park) is a text based simulation baseball game. No graphics. But because these games spend NO time on graphics, it tends to be the best in baseball simulations. Some games allow you to "play" each game by dictating what pitch to throw and if to swing, bunt, sacrifice, etc... but the outcome is determined by the game AI rather than your ability to time the hitting or locate the pitch. Hmm, now that I'm writing this, does this make any sense at all?

The ootp series is my favorite baseball game series easily. However it is mainly just for hardcore baseball fans that want realistic stats and is a simulation game.......no graphics, all text. Its main + is the online features.
It also has the best tech support I have ever seen for a video game, patches are released regularly and bet your bottom that if a problem is found in the release then by the end of the week it will be fixed!!!!
I could go on all day about it but dont have the time check out the site and message board if interested.
