Shelley Duncan has some cojones/a good sense of humor

All the trending sports news and analysis you need from UPROXX.

Pretty funny if you ask me, I'm sure Red Sox fans will get bent out of shape though.

You kidding? I thought it was hilarious. The fact that this kid's parents came out with this means to me they're raising a snot-nosed pansy.

Edit - Also, that's one heck of a cool piece of memorabilia. Definitely better than anything else Duncan could sign. I'd put that on my bar.

great stuff. The kid looked like he just got over a crying spell when that photo was taken.

Talked about this in another forum and I find it hilarious.

At first I thought I'd get flamed for it (because of my obvious love for the Yankees ) but I've been seeing a lot of Red Sox fans applaud the signature as well. I'm glad people know how to have a sense of humor.

As for this kid...he's the one that needs to grow up and learn how to take a joke.

I don't really blame the kid for taking the joke bad because it's obvious the mom is the one with the real problem with it, running to the media and acting like they were somehow victimized. Stupid parents.

Yea, if the kid was actually hurt then that's probably more an example of his upbringing than his actual personality.

He's probably hurt because he was taught to be hurt by jokes like that.

Kid probably wasn't even bothered by it, he probably laughed, showed his parents, and his parents decided they wanted 15 minutes of fame and complained.

I hope this young Red Sox fan doesn't see this. We wouldn't want him to be emotionally crippled, you know.

Ok, how is this not everywhere on the internet?

If that was Jeter and Manny was ARod this would be the front story on CNN.

Manny, like usual, has no idea what is going on.
