First, I love the idea of putting it to a vote.
Bonds is a jerk for saying Ecko is stupid...This is novel, and fits right along with Ecko's recurring themes of a sort of democracy/populism...sort of..

There is no way that Bond's record is ever ever not tied to the questions surrounding it, and at no point in the future will it be referred to without an "asterisk" commentary...even if not actual asterisk is in the books or on the ball....

The ball itself is its own taint...we should leave it as it, put it in Cooperstown as a shaming artifact of Baseball and Selig in the 90s and early 21st century...

Like I said months ago, there is no need fro an asterisk, as the question/issue will always remain.

I voted B. I think that would be a great but they would have to brand it all over so the ball has to be displayed with the asterisk.

Honestly, I thought about how each option would sound in the history books, and came to the conclusion that A was too boring, C was too stupid, and B was pretty much the most interesting commentary on the issue of the times that this era in Baseball is facing.

I chose B.

Why would a guy pay a quarter of a million dollars for a ball just to hand it over to Cooperstown unconditionally?

He should do something with it.. C is just going to get expensive (although if this guy can spend a quarter mil on a ball, then he can probably fork up some more to send it into space). Only logical option is B.

I have a tough time believing the Hall of Fame would accept the ball if it had an asterisk branded on it. Too controversial for them to display.
