    A few questions ...

Can someone help me out with some definitive answers to these questions.

    1. What are the different batting options - 3d, 2d, timing, HH like - timing location?

    2. Will there be any tuning sliders?

    3. Are players scaled to their correct body type?

    4. Are the batting stances and pitching supposed to be accurate?

If i'm not mistaken - and i could be as i've never played the game, but have gathered this from following it - the 3d cursor allows you move the cursor throuhgout the strikezone AND allows you to tilt the cursor in a pull/opposite field postion as well as a flyball/groundball position. I've seen this very thing in a number of the movies. The 2d cursor only allows you to move within the hitting zone on a totally flat plane. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

I hope so on both accounts. I really like HH's pitcher/batter interface.

SoxFan is deadon with his description...good job!

the 3d cursor basically is a 3D triangle shape that you can freely rotate to any angle on the screen prior to the pitch that simulates the contact angle of the bat to the pitched ball to give the user a feeling of more control of their swing....which can simulate uppercuts, fisting or poking the ball and chopping down as well. With a batting cursor system this robust, you should be able to replicate any type of batted ball that can be done in a real AT BAT......Kudos to Acclaim for this system. lets hope they tweaked it better for this year to have more pronounced ball physics when your tilting to extremes.

1 there are four, but i odn't know them all. the cursor and easy batting should be there.

                        2. they worked on pitches, but i'm ont sure.

                        3. people are complaining that the players are too skinny.

                        4. They definitely should be.
