Exactly, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter that the Cardinals only won 83 games last year, and it doesn't matter that the Mariners won 116 in 2001.

As a Padre fan, Leon Durham is far and away my favorite Cub of all time followed very close by good old Lee Smith.

'84 was without a doubt one of the most epic choke jobs in playoff history.

My team is Detroit and always will be but now that I live in Chicago, the Cubs have become my NL team and really hope to see them do well. I've gone to 7 games at Wrigley and its quite the experience, especially in the bleachers. As long as the Big Z and Lilly are on their games, they should do alright.
