    High Heat Problem

During my season, the game locked up on me when the other team's games were being simmed. I have reset the game numerous times. I've never had problems playing blue backed games on my PS2. There also appears to be no scratches on the cd. Do you know what the problem might be?

Is it still locking up on you? My game did that once but hasn't done it since. Just restart the game and hope for the best I guess.

It could be that blue disk problem it did it to me once then i turned my PS2 over and it hasn't done it again i can still play the game with the PS2 in the normal position but i'm not taking any chances

My ps2 has always sat horizontal, I don't trust my cats that much, and it's under my TV on and entertainment center. The blue disks ARE much more of a problem than it seems anyone is giving them credit for, I've had this problem two consecutive years with HH, now that seems just A LITTLE coincedental, doesn't it? I used the "scotch tape" trick, WITHOUT flipping my ps2 all over God's creation, and it now works fine. Last year, I got lucky half of the time, and the game loaded for me. I did however, get rid of it as soon as ASB came out.

Check the rosters of the teams in the game that is causing the "simming" to hang up. I had this happen on the PSX version of HH 2002, and the problem was that the Braves 1B got hurt, and the AI didn't substitute a player in for him. I put in someone, and everything worked fine...

                    Just a thought... good luck!
