I actually thought the strike zone was huge. There were some extremely high pitches called strikes, that left me wondering how the hell they were strikes.

This guy's slow ball/strike calls are really annoying me, too.
It takes him like 10 seconds to proclaim a strike.Comment

Bad play by Hawpe twisting around out there.
The Padres have a great chance at losing this one. They play poorly in nationally televised games.Comment

Khalil looks a lot better at the plate than he did months ago.
And surprise, a Padre finally has 100 rbis and 30 home runs. Last done in 2004 (Nevin) and 2001 (Nevin, Klesko) respectively.Comment
