TBS has great presentation, actually spend time analyzing the game instead of making witty remarks (Joe Buck) or anti-Moneyball comments (Joe Morgan), and let the games speak for themselves.

Wow this is my first time hearing Thomas and Ripken and sheesh the Big Hurt is the Big Cringe to me.

Cal should get into broadcasting. He's fantastic and explains the game without talking over your head.

WRONG. He needs to be plotting out a plan to buy the O's from the death grip of Peter Angelos. Please Cal, please!!!!!!!

I'm a Yankee fan and I think Chip Caray has done an EXCELLENT job this series so far. he's really into the game and he's got a great voice.

I love Chip Caray, been listening to him for years since I'm a Braves fan. Of course he is Harry Caray's grandson, so what do you expect.

Personally, I have really liked the TBS announcing. As someone else said, it's refreshing for the action on the field to be the main character, instead of having some big headed announcer try and steal the show.

TBS has done a great job with their coverage. It is enjoyable and the commentators don't talk too much.

Caray and Stockton have been the shining lights of TBS coverage. Other then those two (with the exception of Cal in studio and Gwynn in the booth) the announcing has been rather disappointing.

You mean the same **** Stockton who can't pronounce a single name correctly in the Cubs-Dbacks series?

TBS has sucked. Get rid of that stupid leadoff line, don't make the big stat overlays that replicate the scorebook, let the color guys do the teams they normally cover so they don't look ******** (i.e. Steve Stone/Brenly do the Cubs/Dbacks instead of the guy from the Mets who doesn't know a thing about either team). I've had constant video feed problems in key situations... that Cabrera homer in the Yankees game last night was delayed 5 seconds (not sure if that was everyone else's experience). No HD in most places. Sorry, they suck, bottom line.

I thought Stockton's pronounciation was pretty good. I think his accent makes it sound worse then it is. Other then that (minor) problem he's been VERY solid in calling the games.

I do agree that the announcing tandems have been a little weird and I bet it gets rectified next year.

I've always loved Stockton, especially for football. But he has just really been sub-par this series, IMO.

I myself think the TBS presentation has been refreshing. Some random thoughts:

The only announcer I don't care for is Ron Darling, especially when he mentioned that the Phillies were going back to Colorado to play the Rockies at Mile High Stadium.

Does Orsillo sound exactly like Sean McDounough? (I think this is the spelling, the guy who recently has been with ESPN and did the CBS baseball game a few years back.)

I don't care for Joe Simpson. It sounds like he didn't set aside the required 8 hours of sleep after taking that one sleep medicine.

I love the 9 footline. You can definitely see who the contenders and the pretenders are while leading off.

Cal Ripken has a future in analysis. He doesn't stammer, is confident sounding, and is much more insightful.

The FrankTV commercials were great the first night, now, lets advertise more Sex and the City or something.

David Aldridge is a tad out of place doing sideline reporting at a baseball game. He is more adapt at investigative reporting.

Thank goodness my Rockies will still be on TBS, I am not a big McCarver fan either.

                              GO ROCKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have loved the TBS announcers so far. They actually focus on the game itself and not something that has nothing to do with the game...see ESPN every single day!

Cal has just been fantastic. Although I would love for him to buy the O's instead!
