    Multi-player franchises or on-line play?

A question that has been bothering me, so I am curious to see how it plays out. Would you like to see "multi-player franchise mode" or "on-line" use? Or maybe you don't care. If they would eliminate the "unneccesary" features in the game (home-run derby, tutorial modes, and scenario modes) they should have enough room maybe for both? Let me know what you think?

Multiplayer franchise. Nothing is more fun than playing a bunch of seasons with your friends. Free agency/recruiting all become more intense. Also, bragging rights are even bigger.

None of my local friends are into Sports games, so I'd much rather have online play.

And besides... wouldn't you have to wait up for your friends to play their game before you can go onto your next one?

            I prefer online play also.

I personally don't even care about either. I can't ever see myself playing online or a multi-user franchise in baseball. I could do it in football though.

Online XBL play. No doubt. It's the only reason I'm considering Inside Pitch.

How about online, multi-user franchise???? Yummy

what exactly is a multi-player franchise? is it a way to contol the cpu teams? or would this be the only way you can control the cpu teams in a franchise?

Do any of this year's baseball games feature multiplayer franchises? That would be my preference.
