I dont think it tells you. But if Im not mistaken, in lasts years manual, it said something like it took the AB's of 2 batters to have a pitcher really warmed up, and 1 mound visit = 1 AB (i think)

Personally, I always warm my guys up when im batting, and if I did it on the last batter, well I'll do a mound visit to make sure.

Funny you say that, I do the same thing.......warm my pitcher up when I get to bat. But it doesnt let you bring in a reliever when you're at bat

But you dont have to bring him in anyway, when your up at bat, so i dont really let it bother me.

Also, in real life, there is no meter to tell you when I guy is warm or not, they use a certain of number of throws to classify a guy as warm. I would like them to tell me how many throws he has already done, but since i remember the way it was last year, It really doesnt bother me.

I always looked at the "warm up bar" the same as getting on the phone to the bullpen and asking the bullpen coach "is he ready?"

yeah, nothing worse than guessing in a close game, only to find out your reliever is not ready.

Yea, but it allows you to warm him up, then you can fucntion normally with pinch hitters and such. Also, the double switch is easy to do. I usually warm up a pitcher, throw a ball, do a mound visit, then try my best to not give up something big.

That's baseball, and yuo should know by playing the game enough when they are warmed up.
