and considering how infrequent it is, I wonder how many people who claim to have seen the bug actually did and how many were just jumping on the bash wagon.

I don't think it was that many. I first saw the issue at BSC, and maybe one or two at OS and gamefaqs each.
All seemed legit, and considering all the posts at both sites, it wasn't too bad. -

i'm over 60 games now and still 0 bug for me. I look at it like this. the bug apparently does exist but it happens so infrequently that it does not detract from the overall experience. with hindsight being 20/20 I'd still buy the game.Comment

Unfortunately, I am one of the few who witnessed it firsthand, but only once. However, it has persuaded me into selling my PS2 and trading it in for an XBox for the XBox version without the bug.Comment

I havent seen the bug yet, and I've had it since day one. But I wouldnt go as far as to trade in my PS2 or XBOX because of it.Comment
