    Collision Detection on HR's

So does the ball react to the environment or just disappear. Before release some were saying the ball would bounce off whatever it hit and others said it just disappeared.

    What is the true answer

it simply disappears. Most of the time you dont even see it clear the fence. pretty disappointing.

IT sucks that hh doesn't have this. It is suprising that i think that only ASB has this feature.

It sucks when you see the ball flying high and deep only to see it disapear not knowing exactly where it landed and ended up.

Why is this such a big deal? The ball goes over the fence, after that, who cares what the hell happens to it?

This is one of the dumbest complaints of baseball games, collision detection means nothing.

because it just adds realism...plus, you can actually see how far the ball travels, rather than a number telling you...

it adds to the "wow!" factor.
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a ttoal jmulbe and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

                        amzanig huh?

like kelvarr said, it just adds to the wow factor. if i crank one into the upper deck i want to see it bounce around in the stands.

it adds a lot to the hr's that you really smack. i like to admire my hr's. not a lot to look when the ball just disappears.

its a simple thing for sure but adds something to the game for me.
