    Game Length

Anyone know if one ASB 9-inning games will still take 23 hours to complete?

I liked lasts years ver, but the time it took ti complete one game was unacceptable. I don't think anything angered my girlfriend off more than waiting for me to finish an ASB game.

The prodcuers in an interview did say it was around 30-40 minutes. But if you get stuck making changes, have a high scoring game or if we are forced to watch replays then I would imagine it will go in the 45-50 min range.

The best thing they could was speed up the pitcher delivery but I dont know if they did.

I read they sped the game up some....but the in game saves is a huge addition. This will stop any worry of the game taking to long. Plus, the catcher does throw the ball back to the pitcher in ASB, that takes some time, but I've read enough posts that say they want this little attention to detail. Also, last years game had replays after every play, that won't be the case this year. The game has sped up to a degree...but I hear some games may take longer than others depending on whats happening. In Game Saves!

Good point nikeford, the in-game saves will eliminate much of the anxiety of finishing a game in one sitting. I'm looking foward to ASB2004 and can't wait for impressions later this week.....or next.

Did they really have replays after EVERY play last year? Could you at least exit out of the replays?

Wow, that does seem a little excessive. It's good that you can exit out of them, but i would think it would be annoying to have to on every normal flyout or ground ball.
