I hope not with Pujols... he seems like a legit nice guy.

That still pisses me off. They sat on that story specifically till Game 7 just to screw with the Indians... and I'm pretty sure it's been documented that they infact did hold the story for over two weeks before "breaking it" the day of the game.

Also, I heard on the radio yesterday that Mitchell is on the Board of Trustees for the Red Sox, is this true? If it is, it will be interesting to see if any Boston player are included on the list.
        Manny Alexander baby

Seriously though, I agree there is a conflict of interests but can't imagine he'd try to cover anything up. He has a whole team of investigators that worked on this so if he covered something up and it came out later his credibility and reputation would basically be ruined.

Blame the media for that one, not George Mitchell. Either way Paul Byrd was the one that comes out of that situation looking bad.

Do you really expect any current Red Sox to be on that list today?

ESPN reporting Clemens is in the report. I wonder if Petite is on the list because they use the same trainers and was mentioned by Grimsley.

I believe it was allready reported that no current Red Sox is on the List.

Gagne is no longer a sox.

Yes I do. I think he almost has to name some Red Sox in order to give his report any credibility. It might not be somebody currently on the team but I'd be very surprised if there wasn't somebody from the last 3 years.

I think we might see Johnny Damon's name mentioned. I hope we don't see Pujols or A-rod...

Now its great to see all these great american heros like Clemens, Randy Johnson, etc etc, get named for cheating. Its a vindication to a degree.. doesnt justify Barry Cheating, but at least the truth is all coming out and people wont act liek barry was the only one...

well its baseball. they will still act like he was the only one.

I just hope they take Roger clemons gloves and stamp asterisks on those too... its only fair right?
Heros? They're baseball players. They're closer to commodities than anything.

no "superstars". granted, maybe that's true that Ortiz or Manny never took them, but people will question the hell out of it.

I think everyone would. Those two are the faces of baseball right now, the guys MLB needs to help carry them through this.

At this rate, no name would "surprise" me.
