Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
I'm not... I know I've said this before... but I equate this to something similar to dating a woman...
You don't need to know her past, you just need to know she's yours (steroid free) for the future. Knowing the past will only hurt you and make you more likely to question the future.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
This was talked about on M&MD, they brought up the possibilities of guys late in their careers who are HOF worthy, that it could kill them there. They just threw names out there, Clemens, Piazza, etc. Interesting stuff. Can't wait to see the list.Comment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
per rotoworld:
MLB received it's copy of the Mitchell Report on Tuesday, roughly 48 hours before it's due to be published.
The report is believed to name 60-80 current and former players. A substantial percentage figure to be New York Mets, as it was their former clubhouse attendant, Kirk Radomski, that provided George Mitchell's committee with much of its information.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
Some of the names I would guess ;
Pudge
Giles brothers
Jason Giambi
Migguel Tejada
Brian Roberts
Personally I also wouldn't be surprised if I hear Bobby Abreu's name. Always wondered about him.Cost of Super Bowl XLII ticket -$750
Trip from NYC to Glendale, Arizona -$650
Vintage Eli Manning jersey -$230
Picturing the faces of Chargers' fans and certain studio analysts as they watch Eli play in the Super Bowl XLII from their respective homes, or for some - a television studio - Priceless.Comment

I doubt they will be blacking any of them out, but you aren't going to see a David Ortiz or Manny Ramirez on the list IMO. I guess we shall see on Thursday.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
Of course there will be and I'd be amazed if there is a single Boston player on this list. Having Mitchell conduct this investigation would be like the NCAA having me conduct an investigation into Florida State. Even if I find something I am not going to report it.Comment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
They were saying on ESPN radio this morining that over 100 players tested positive on one random test during the season a few years ago. It was a blind test, just to see numbers. No names were given.
So you have at least 100 players at a random time. But over the last 20 years they're gonna say it's 60-80? LMAO.
Baseball does think we're that stupid.PSN: JISTIC_OS
