    Fielding is fun too...

For me, High Heat has always been the only baseball game were I enjoy fielding and this year it seems to be even better with some of the new animations.

There seems to be a catch and throw in one motion if you press the button at the right time.

The dive works better this year, it didn't seem to work very well last year.

Running down balls in the outfield is as fun as it has always been.

I need to improve on my infield dives.

I agree HH is always fun to play "D" on and this year is no exception. The controller and fielder just seem to respond very well when you dive or jump. I remember ASB's dive last year, the fielder would dive 3 seconds late and 4 feet over the ball. Or the lack of a jump button in WSB last year, how the hell can you make a fielder not be able to jump?
This another area HH beats the other games in IMO. Just b/c you dive for a grounder doesn't mean you will field it either, I have had a couple bounce off of me and roll into the outfield for infield hits. Being able to make big defensive plays adds to the fun factor of any game!

Is there a speed burst button?

Even though I rarely use the speed burst button in games that have them, I do find myself wanting to hit it when there's a ball heading to the outfield that I know my outfielder just won't be able to reach otherwise. I do like that HH doesn't have one, though, as pitching and defense would probably become too easy too quickly.
