IP2003, not bad... MS is definetely trying to carve there niche is the sports game idustry. Being able to play online will be huge for this title. But there still will be alot of hills this title will have to climb. Things that may hurt this title

1) It will only be available on xbox. No cross platform like the other baseball titles.
2) The release date scheduled in May is waaaay to close to the release of NCAA2004. . Also the other baseball titles would have been out by then.
3) No franchise, ( but online play should make up a little ground for that).
But I am still intrigued by this game. I will be getting it, if for nothing else than playing it online.

Now the Good things about this title

1) Beautiful baseball atmosphere ( stadiums, grass,etc.)
2) Online play of course
3) Music ripping this is huge for some of us Sleeper ? Perhaps.......
I expect the info and movies on this game to start rolling in very soon.

The graphics aren't bad, but the pitcher/batter interface needs some serious improving. I like how the different type of pitches were fastball, curve, and split... if Microsoft expects to contend they need more than just the regular 9 pitches.

The game looks pretty nice, as expected they did a great job with the stadiums. This game has a possibility of convincing me to get a second baseball game so that I'll be able to play it online. Looks good, but there are still a lot of questions to be answered about this one (Thanks for putting up the IP2003 Interview Thread). I just wish it didn't have such a late release, but late is better than none at all.

I think the one area that they already know they've won, and what they're banking on for this year is the online play. I know the game will need lots of other features and improvements to be able to compete with the others, but being the only one with online play will help them a lot this year.
