hitting with lefties vs. hitting with righties

how do you find it hitting with lefties versus hitting with right-handed hitters?

in hh 2003, i think lefties were favored a little bit. it seemed a little easier to hit with them. maybe it was just me though. maybe it was that there are more righty pitches, so their stuff can't tail away. just like real life. i must admit, in the high heat games, matchups really are relevant (ie if you are bringing in a switch hitter against a lefty, you will want to bring in a right-handed hitter instead of a left-handed hitter). this is one of the things realistic about the game.

so how have you found hitting?

I don't think 2004 favors lefties anymore than righties. I owned 2003 so I know where you're coming from. Last year all my lefties hit for a higher avg. than my righties - this year Tejada vs. Chavez seems pretty even to me.

I will say this, i am a right handed person myself, but I much rather prefer hitting left handed in this game dating back to last year's game. Last year I did a fantasy draft, and without realizing it, 7 of 9 in my starting lineup were all left handed. My record suffered vs lefties, but i killed righties.
