Re: Bottom Line.....
I really think that if you put a lot of importance into presentation graphics and sound and all that, stay away from it. If you want a game that has a no-frills take on baseball, and does a damn good job of it, this could be the game for you.Comment

Re: Bottom Line.....
Here's my thoughts:
Depends what you're into. Are you more interested in actual gameplay or off-the field stuff?
If gameplay is priority #1, there is no better game than High Heat.
If you're more interested in franchise stuff, HH will give you *some* headaches. Their minor league system is still by far the best, but you'll have problems with CPU trades, CPU cuts, CPU signings, etc during the season. It's their first attempt at console franchise, and its going to be pretty ugly.
If glitz and glamour is your thing, just get ASB. It has a lot of options, but the gameplay is a joke.
I imagine WSB and MVP will be somewhere in the middle of the two games. I have high hopes, personally, for MVP. I think it will surprise people.

Re: Bottom Line.....
Well i got the game and as you can see by the time of this post i have gotten in some games!! I do like the gameplay...however it always seems like The game starts out good and then something happens (bad angle on fielding a ball or my pitcher just loses it) and i can't seem to get a winit is very frustrating...but I do like the game ....one particular thing that stood out was in my first game i threw a strike and i knew it was a strike and I said "c'mon Ump"....and on Que I heard someone in the stands say " Put on your glasses ump" I was like yeah to the TV......Unreal!!!! The gameplay is absolutly fabulous...I haven't run into the 2 out bug yet and i hope i don't ....I'll probably keep this game, but I still am gonna keep my reservation for MVP....Oh by the way how do you pitch? I am having the hardest time throwing Balls and Strikes when I want to (P.S. I am using the Yankees pitching staff so I don't think it's a personnel problem any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Bottom Line.....
A couple of items that may help...for the bad camera angles turn off the Action Camera at the home or vistior settings. This will keep all your fielding view in the same perspective. As for pitching check out this post;
