Re: Manage Only mode

Let me try and answer all of these::

1. when pitching, first thing you do is select the pitch. There is a pitchout. Also a beanball and Intentional walk button. You can also try and pick off a guy at any base. You choose the pitch type, but not the location. You can play regular or it has a generated pitch count mode. Generated pitch count is similar to one pitch mode on HH.

2. Defensive postions are set by using the left and right trigger buttons (left is infield and right is outfield).
Infield Settings
normal
dp depth
corners
in
deep
lines
shade left or right
shift left or right

Outfield settings
normal
normal left
normal right
deep
deep left
deep right
shallow
shallow right
shallow left

3. it has mound visits. you sub offensive and defensive players. do a double switch. and you warm up pitchers (you actually see them warming up too)

4. stats seem to be realistc. I have only played 3 games in manage only mode. walks and k's are more realistic this way than actually playing.

5. you asked in the other post about CPU trades and injuries being grayed out when you control all teams. this IS ture. the trades makes sense since a Human is controlling teams, but the injuries doesn't make sense.

6. you can play 2 player manage only.

7. is it worth buying an xbox for? Not sure yet. I need some more time to play. I haven't even messed with the franchise mode or anything like that.

I love that. Nothing cooler than hitting a double into the gap & seeing a couple of guys in the other team's pen up and throwing.
