Gimme a break!! Say something intelligent, and the thread won't be locked. Get over yourself...I'm actually thankful that they try to keep this stuff cleaned up and free of clutter. It's nice to know that 80 percent of the boards won't be flaming. I mean really...there's nothing wrong with holding people to a standard.

The thing is this type of behavior is all too typical for just about any new release. Perhaps the originator has a legit beef, but all too often people cry about the most anal retentive stuff that I've ever seen. Some of the criticism is warranted and yes developers do read these boards so it can be helpful to them. Other criticism is bogus propaganda done for the purpose of attention or bashing. Sometimes it becomes difficult to tell the two apart...

johnny, Shredder said "perhaps the originator has a legitimate beef." I was just irritated at GarrettHill's "yeah, whatever" response (or whatever he said, 2nd in thread I think?). Then for him to call Doughty a "lockthreadsaholic" was just dumb. I'm sure mods have better things to do than lock threads, and probably don't take a whole lot of sadistic pleasure in it. Anyway, IMO, is sounds like a real bug, and I don't think Shredder's the bad guy here.
