Hit and Run?

Hi guys, it's my first post here, I just got the game this morning and have two questions, (1) How do I hit and run in the game? (2) There is a hitting statistics in the bottom of the screen, sometimes it's showing the 2002's statistics and sometimes it's showing all-time statistics. vs rhp, vs Lhp....is this appear by random?? how do I change it? Thanks. Great Game so far

When ya hit a HR, does it immediately go to that god awful cam if it's just barely out the park, or can you actually try to catch it this year (rob a HR)?

From what Ive heard almost all home runs are the home run cam. A terrible decision to not at least give us the option of turning it off...

No ASBB for me this year..

Horrible. ASB's HR cam has to be be the most poor implemented version of it on anygame. TP's was the best, but in no way would I play that game just for the HR cam!

To hit and run, get a full leadoff by pressing the L button several times before the pitch. Once the pitcher lifts his leg, steal (don't know what version you are playing so I can't say the exact buttons). Then hit the ball, you might want to angle your batting icon down to prevent a double play.

To change the yearly/career/other stats, click in the right stick.

I have the GC version, is there a way that I can view the stat breakdowns also?

not all homeruns go to the homerun cam
i just hit a homerun with bobby abreu to right center that cleared the wall by about a foot and it didnt go to the cam
so im assuming if there is a chance you can rob a homerun they wont go to that camera
