My only gripe so far.
Is that when pitching, its kinda of hard to fall behind in the count. You can throw to many strikes. If you have a decent pitcher, you cant paint the corners real well. On allstar, I noticed that they crush any pitch in the zone. but on a 3-2 count, you're gonna make sure its a strike. So its hard to walk a batter for realistic pitch counts.

Re: My only gripe so far.
I feel the same way and not only that but it seems like when u score that same inning the CPU scores to. I feel a come back bug here. Its not to say they didn't fix most of the problems of last year. but they still need to work on the pitching/batting interfaceComment

Re: My only gripe so far.
Agreed.
This is the main reason I enjoy non-cursor pitching models. Too accurate, for my blood.
I will say, however, that ASB this year does a much better job of working counts. n veteran, they will punish mistake pitches with doubles and triples.
Therefore, I fall behind in a count, I refust to give in. I'd rather give up a walk than a double.
You can try turning off strike zone and pitching aid, but within time, you'll get a feel for the zone. Home Run King, HH, and the original WSB on the DC are the three best pitching models I've ever used, though HH needs a little bump in pitch speed.Comment

Re: My only gripe so far.
On that 3-2 count, you may want to look for the guy's cold zone and throw something there that's just outside the strike zone. If he's looking for a strike, throw him something just outside the zone and try to get him to chase.Comment

Re: My only gripe so far.
yeah, turning off the pitching cursor should help. Turning off the strike zone might help too, becuase you'll know the genral area that you are trying to pitch to, but you wont be able to perfectly hit that spot.Comment

Re: My only gripe so far.
If all else fails, just drop down the accuracy of all of your pitchers. It'll only take like 5 min. at the most to do all of them throughout your organization. Just make them all D-'s and it should affect the location a little bit more.Comment
