Re: Francisco Cordero to the Reds
I'm a bit torn on this. He's better than what they have but it's hard for me to forget he can be erratic at times. When he's on, he's great. When he's off though, boy is he frustrating to watch.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Francisco Cordero to the Reds
he is really good. The problem isn't the money, it's the length of the deal. The Reds are making a statement that Castellini is opening the wallet and ready to put a winner on the field. There is no doubt about that.NFL: Tennessee Titans

I think the Cubs are going to stay with Dempster until Marmol is ready in 2009. I think if he wanted a one or two year deal we would have been in the bidding. I'm sick of giving any reliever thats not top of the line long term deals anyway."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Re: Francisco Cordero to the Reds
Question with me is, was he the right guy to sign as your biggest/most expensive free agent acquisition in club history? Francisco Cordero? I'll eventually get past it (especially if he tears it up - they just better be good enough to get him opportunities) but it kind of bothers me a bit. If they were going to spend that much money, kind of hoped for a bigger splash than that. Know where I'm coming from?MLB: Cincinnati Reds

By the way, I heard the Reds are also targeting Neifi Perez. I hope that is a joke but I know how much Dusty loves that little ball of steroids and low batting average.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: Francisco Cordero to the Reds
yup. though the way teams have been spending on pitching recently, I'm glad they did it earlier than later. I know some people are torn on Cordero, but I like him and I hope they aren't done in free agency.

Neifi Perez wasn't busted for steroids.Comment
