But, while the visuals and sound are inferior to some of the other baseball titles this year, High Heat still offers the most realistic representation of baseball. The balls, strikes, broken bats, and wild pitches are in balance with real baseball. But the game also feels a step behind every other baseball game out this year.

They are very, very bad. High Heat doesn't even have broken bats. Oy.
Thank god for OS.Comment

Re: hh review(x-box)
Maybe the X-Box version DOES have broken bats?? If you'll recall, the X-Box version of NCAA Football 2003 has helmets being knocked off, but they don't come of in the PS2 version. Different companies, I know, but it does seem that there are occasional minor differences in different console versions of the same game. Just like with the draft class problem in NCAA Basketball 2K3. It works (well half-assedly, anyway) in the PS2 version, but not in the X-Box version (at least not til recently).Comment

Re: hh review(x-box)
In my opinion, the helmets were flying off like popcorn on a hot burner in the Xbox edition. I had the PS 2 and it did happen but very seldom, just like reality. But in the Xbox edition, it would happen three or four times a game. After awhile it takes away from it. Still the greatest game (NCAA 2003) for any console!Comment
