I read in the IGN reveiw that players sometime catches pop up when they seem to be 4 feet away. Is this anything like the vacuum effect in last years ASB? Anyone that has played ASB knows what I am talking about. It really ruined the game for my last year and caused me to get WSB. High Heat looks like a good game despite the reviews saying its getting to old however if it has the vacuum effect I may change my mind.

I've noticed this a few times on flies to the OF. I don't know if I'd say the ball looks like it's 4 feet away, though. Maybe a foot or two. I think it has to do with the fielding interface, where you have a circle for your player and a circle where the ball is going to land. If most of your player's circle is inside the ball landing zone circle, you'll make the catch (unless there's an error).Comment
