MVP-will this be a game killer?

In some of the previews I have read, and in the videos I have seen, the baserunners are just way too slow. It affects gameplay bigtime as doubles are tiugh to get, and scoring from second is extremely hard.

I love how this game looks...I REALLY want it to succeed. But I have an awful feeling that the running animation is off and that this will be a huge game killer for lots of folks.

I have my fingers crossed that I am wrong and that they will tweak this before it gets to us, but my instincts tell me otherwise.

Stay tuned...3/7 can't come fast enough!

Does MVP give you the ability to edit rosters? If so it wouldnt take long to edit the arm strength of 180 outfielders

        3/7?????

        What comes out on 3/7?

It will be a game killer if we cant get someone home from second. lets hope this isnt a problem..

Yeah, i hope this is not a problem, as it would be a game killer for me too. Having realistic running speeds are FUNDAMENTAL to having a good playing baseball game.

One of the WSB movies I saw had Benito Santiago easily beating out a double play ball to first, even though the infielders turned it VERY quickly. Benito had pretty good speed for a catcher when he first came up, but he isn't fast enough now to beat the throw to first THAT easily. I guess we'll have to choose whether everyone gets a hit with WSB, or no one gets a double with MVP perhaps.

I am pretty sure Steve said the baserunning and speed is good. Maybe he can comment on this a little bit if he is around.
