last nite i was in a software etc. store asking about the release of wsb 2k3 on ps2. the guy proceeded to go on and dump on the the left and right, saying you can't control the fielding and how the game just does'nt sell all that well. then he went on and on about how great the mvp game was going to be both visually and playing wise what's up with that. still getting wsb but i don't understand what the guys agenda was.

its not that they get "kick back" from EA some of the people that work there are like the fanboys that come on this site...why would EA pay money to some moron to get him to sell like 5 extra games? i mean if he sold those 5 its only $250 and what if they gave him $300? they would be losing moneyComment

Gamers are all different. Not to stereotype but is my experience thats sports gamers are a different breed than the gamers that work, at stores. I tend to find more of your Doom/Quake/Unreal type gamers in those places. Once a store guy tried telling me that only playing sports games is wasting a system. I personally am pretty much playing sports games exclusively again. I find as I get older and busier I don't have time for mythic quests and furry adventures. Guess I'm wasting a system store dude

Gamers are all different. Not to stereotype but is my experience thats sports gamers are a different breed than the gamers that work, at stores. I tend to find more of your Doom/Quake/Unreal type gamers in those places. Once a store guy tried telling me that only playing sports games is wasting a system. I personally am pretty much playing sports games exclusively again. I find as I get older and busier I don't have time for mythic quests and furry adventures. Guess I'm wasting a system store dude better tell the head elf on me.

If I was told all about the virtues of MVP and how WSB sucks by an employee of a store like the original poster has said I would proceed to lean over the counter (if the guy has a nametag) hold his tag, read his name really slowly and quietly and then shout "I DIDN'T ASK ABOUT MVP YOIU A&#$*$E! JUST ASNSWER MY WSB QUESTION!" right in his face.
