I think you just answered your own question. Supply & Demand. If the supply is high, the demand has to be lacking.
Cost of Super Bowl XLII ticket -$750
Trip from NYC to Glendale, Arizona -$650
    Vintage Eli Manning jersey -$230
Picturing the faces of Chargers' fans and certain studio analysts as they watch Eli play in the Super Bowl XLII from their respective homes, or for some - a television studio - Priceless.

I've got a Bonds autographed bat, no interest in selling it though.

Interesting piece of memorabilia to have IMO just due to all the controversy that surrounds him, having the HR record but with all the steroid stuff.

Actually Bonds memorabilia has decreased greatly in value. I saw a tidbit on ESPN where one of his HR balls which originally went 25K was only expected to sell for just 2 thousand dollars. (my numbers may be way off but the steep decline is not)

it's because we're in the moment. Years down the road, his stuff will be nice conversation pieces I'd think, as this was a big time in MLB history.

              Agreed.

I hate Bonds but regardless if he used roids or not, he accomplished some great things. I just classify the previous 10-15 years as the steroid era. Tons of players were doing it.

Players are a lot better today then they were 30 years ago. You can hate Bonds like me but you have to respect what he could do on a baseball field.
