32 Run Offensive Explosion!!

I have played about 12 games so far averaging 2 runs and maybe 7 hits per. And I have been giving up about 2 runs a game as well. Then this afternoon the bats came alive in a Spring Training game between my Brooklyn Swingers and the Devil Rays.

Team LOB: 3

Carl Everett was Player of the Game going 5/5 3 HR, 6 RBI

It was a weird game. I got 6 runs each in the 3rd, 4th and 5th. In that time 2 Rays pitchers were ejected for throwing at batters!

This was on Veteran with Exaggerated pitching. Now I don't know if this was just a fluke of a game, or if I need to up the difficulty. I have seen a few people say that their games have been HR fests, but this is only the second Multi HR game I have played. Really I am more concerned about the 16 2B!!

Have most of your games been close or are you guys starting to dominate the CPU? I hope not. . .I would hate to think that after a couple of more days the game will stop being fun because the computer is so easy to beat. .like last year.

this was last years htough, i still have to wait for 2004 to come out on the PS2. I don't remember, but it was funny as hell. Crazy errors here and there. Please note that there were 9 dingers in the game (something that i think won't h appen in this years version).

It could have been a fluke. There are on occasion high scoring games in baseball. Since you had reasonable scoring games before, maybe it was a one time thing. Give it a few more games and see what happens.

Also, i noticed that when using the Normal cursor, i hit a LOT of doubles, mostly because i was aiming high and into the gap, which i imagine most people do. That could explain your 16 doubles. Try hitting with the zone system. I've done that and got a very good variety of hits, from ground balls, to fly balls, doubles, triples, etc.

I think you are right about the cursor tilt causing my doubles- but what about the CPU?
