    CPU trades not fair???

i am using the yankees and simulating the seasons just to see how it fairs out. Every year it seems that the CPU wants to trade for Giambi which i dont have a problem with. My problem is that they have never ever offered me a fair trade.
Here is a small list of some of the players that i have been offered. Usually they want Giambi and 2 AAA players from me or my best players from AA or A. I get about 4 or 5 trade offers a year for Giambi.

    1. Thome and 2 A players
    2. L. Gonzalez and 2 A players
    3. Sheffield and 2 A players
    4. Sheffield (straight up for Giambi) are you kidding me!!!
    5. J. Gonzalez and 2 A players
    6. Pujols and 2 minor leaguers(dont remember what class)
    7. 3 minor leaguers(is the CPU for real)
    8. Kent and 2 AA players
    9. I have more just cant remember them anymore.

Like a lot of you posters have said there are some bugs and frustrating things about the game. But overall i am enjoying the game very much. It is very challenging to me as i am playing on the MVP level.

Playing as the Padres I actually got a trade that was in what I think is in my favor from the CPU..

Cleveland offered me Inf John McDonald, 1b/OF Travis Hafner for Brady Anderson, Dave Hansen and one of my top minor league pitching prospects.

Basically I got Hafner and a utility player for my stud prospect and 2 older role players.

Is Brady Anderson actuallly on the Padres? I know he is in the game, but looking on the web I didn't notice him on their roster.

He's not on the 40 man roster. He's a minor leage spring training invitee. I think Keith Lockhart and Roberto Kelly are in the same boat.

Look at the minor leaguers stats, they may both end up being 2x as good as Giambi in the future!

the ones that were really weird was sheffield straight up for giambi and the second was the 3 minor leaguers for giambi.
does anybody else have trade offerings like this or is it just me? just trying to get a general idea of the CPU trading style.

maybe to you he is just as good. but to the real baseball world they would never do the deal especially the yankees.
