    Multi-Player Franchises

Well, count MVP off the list now. We already knew WSB and ASB wouldn't have it, and now EA has followed suit. I just don't understand it, I mean if me and my two roommates want to start a franchise, all controlling our own teams, we should be able to - and that's the most fun thing you can do in sports video games, in my opinion. If you can do it on Madden and College Football, then why not in baseball??? Anyone else feel let down?

By now it should really be standard. Its something that adds infinite replayability to a game if you use it. I live in a dorm and i have to say that playing a madden franchise with 4 other guys has been awesome. Is it that hard for a company to implement it? It means the difference between buying and not buying a game to me. I know im not alone on this.We were really looking forward to having a franchise in either ASB or WSB. MVP was even getting consideration for a while once we found out the others didnt have multi- franchise. The only option left is HH. Im really not a fan of HH, but it might be worth it just for the group franchise.

Does HH really have multiplayer franchises? That would be something to make me buy HH. Graphics suck, gameplay is simplistic, but a deep franchise mode.... hmmmmmmm.

I have to agree with all of your comments to the fullest degree. I am a huge baseball fan, football is next in line. My brother and I are the same as you folks. He and I have rivalries in all sports, but none more ferocious than baseball and football. He and I have had our favorite teams throughout our entire lives. We are much older now and the hatred for one another's teams has grown not diminished. We love to out coach, out play, out GM with a good trade, and just plain talk smack and rub salt in the others wounds when you beat one another. Playing games means more because certain games mean winning your division, just sliding in there with a playoff squad, or if you didn't make it you want to be in good position for the "off-season" drafts. You quickly want to get back on the field to do better than you did the year before. And if it's the World Series or the Super Bowl there are no games more exciting than these. You can't have that kind of pressure, or hero status when your going against the computer? Well to say about the games that have have the franchise in the past have been Madden and Fever for the football. Fever last year was not that great in the graphics department. EA used to have this option, but since switching over to MVP they have seemed to leave this option on the floor of some cut room. Sega has been promising this feature for 4 make that 5 years now. They say the same thing every year too. "this is something we really wanted to address but we couldn't put our full attention in it". They always say that. I've have been writing them letter's about their games for 4 years, but they don't seem to listen. All of their games only allow you to take one player through anything. That's POOP! I could care less about the on-line play. I want that feature!

Personally I never use multiplayer franchises but that could just be because I dont' have anybody around to play with.
