Creating old time players...we need a sticky!

With over 570 face selections, it should be possible to get a reasonable facimile for just about any player in MLB history. It would be nice if we could have a sticky where people could post the face number, stance, etc of old time players they created. A lot of people put together all-time rosters of their favorite teams, so this could be a great time-saver and source of information.

Also, it would be nice if Acclaim were to put out a list of the MLB legends and the face numbers, etc. they used.

Nobody? I find this hard to believe!

I see we have a question about Sandy Koufax....this would be a perfect thread for that.

I'll ask again in this thread because it is a cool thread-

While browsing through the poitch deliveries in the player editor, I was thinking type 17 was Sandy Koufax. Can anyone confirm or deny?

        Thanks!!!

I created Don Mattingly. I used face #340.

I like the idea of this. I just bought the game yesterday, and one thing I'd love to be able to do is convert every team to a team of all-timers. Can existing players be edited to this extent?

Yes....somewhat. If editing an existing player you can't change the position they play, or whether they are left or right handed. What I do is create a whole new player, which goes into the free agent pool. Then I pick him up for the team I want him on and release someone else. Save the roster, then you're done! This seems to be the easiest way.

Is there a limit to how many players you can create?
