Can we do the snap throw??

Is there any way we can do the snap throw with our catchers, like the computer does? Last year there was something in the manual but it never worked.

YES you can, simply hold down the LEFT TRIGGER right after your pitcher releases the ball.....the screen will zoom back quickly to the ball in play camera, then hit the appropriate button to throw to the base you want to pickoff.

It has to be timed right to work but it does work nicely....

I just want o add this.....the exact way to perform this move is the following:

As soon as your pitcher releases the pitch, HOLD the LEFT TRIGGER in, THEN press the corresponding base you want to throw the pickoff to.......He'll then quickly fire to that base while the camera pans back to the field level view. He doesnt really throw from a squat, but rather he springs to his feet in a firing motion. Practice the timing of it to get it down right and make sure your holding the LEFT TRIGGER IN at the same time you hit the appropriate base BUTTON. I havent actully thrown a runner out yet using it against the CPU but I did catch the CPU 1 time in what appeared to be an overlooked glitch, because the CPU baserunner was just standing frozen in his lead when the ball got to the base. The reason I think it was a little glitch rather then just a 'caught napping play' is because when my 1st basemen caught it, I didnt rush to apply the tag and I simply waited, the runner never tried to get back...he seemed to just stay frozen in his lead until I eventually moved toward him and applied the tag.....I have only seen this once out of about 20 catcher pickoff throws so I simply write it off to myself as an effective catcher pickoff that the game simply didnt use the correct animation sequence...Let me know if you see this happening alot more.
