Yes, and I still haven't heard anyone else complain about the freaking pickoff move. 2 years ago it was a problem, then last year it was gone. Now it's back. Throw to first, throw to third, throw to third again, throw to freaking second. Why the hell isn't there a slider for that. How often in your life have you even saw a pickoff move to third. A few times. I like the game though, but still I think they could have done a few extra updates.

            Oh yea.

The pickoffs and leadoffs need work.

The CPU doesn't give you enough time to get a lead and runner shouldn't go back to the bag after every pitch.

Ahh you missed one of my posts, probably the one thing i don't like about the game is the amount of pick off attempts.

Atmosphere is not great, but ASB the crowd sounds like the fake crowd noise they pipe into TGIF's to make it sound like it is a happening place. It's a wash in my opinion.

I agree that the game does feel a little bit off. Here are my impressions.

                    -----

I booted up the game and headed right for the batting practice mode. HH's new menu's are hip and easy to get thru. I even liked the load music.

I picked Schilling to be on the mound and Jim Edmonds as my batter. When the in game graphics pulled up (it showed Schilling on the hill) the roughness of the graphics hit me right in the face. I don't consider myself a graphics whore by any means, but it was noticable.

When hitting in HH, there is no cursor. I don't know if I like it or not, but in HH the hitting seemed to be a little.."off". Besides the bat feeling heavy, I was able to swing high and hit a low ball. Maybe this has to do w/ the difficulty settting.

From the practice mode, I moved onto a game. I choose random teams and came up w/ the Cardinals vs. the Cubs. While I did get into the spirit of things w/ the music and the sounds, the game was just too sluggish for my tastes. It's really hard to put into words.

Another issue was the camera angles in the game. They just didn't seem right. I felt as though I was always looking down onto the field.

I am going to play the game more this week and get a better feel for it, but so far I would much rather play WSB on the Xbox. For me, console sports games have to be fun and entertaining. HH '04 just doesn't get it done.
