A shame because Jacob's field was such a good name IMO. But it could be a lot worse. (see SBC/AT&T/Pac-Bell Park)

or PSInet Stadium (the Ravens stadium's name before the company went belly-up). Or as my dad's friend called it, Piss-In-It Stadium.

When you call for tickets, they will give you the price of tickets at The Prog, as well as the price of tickets at other ballparks.

Lol thats pretty good. I like the University of Phoenix Stadium! Made even better by the fact that it was almost named after The Pink Taco! lol.

that's really a shame .... but at least it's not a bad corporate name. so now we have progressive field and great american ballpark (best corporate stadium name IMHO) in ohio.

Yeah, as far as a corporate named stadium, Great American Ball Park is about as good as it can get.

I dunno, I think the best corporate named stadiums are Raymond James Stadium and the Edward Jones dome. At least those corporate entities are named after people so it doesn't come off as being blatantly corporate.

The more I think about it, the more I like the sound of Viagra Field or Viagra Stadium.
