Anyway, Do player ratings change. For example a Minor league player that is a D overall. and has ratings such as D for contact hitting, D for power hitting, etc. If Minor leaguers don’t accumulate stats. What is the purpose of having them..?

Do these always remain D's or will they change over time as player progresses. ( Better or worse )

If they don't, Then there would really be no purpose for Minors, Aging or etc. I created an 18 year old with straight A's across the board. Put him in the Majors and he is tearing it up. i then created a 18 year old with D- across the board, put him in the majors and he can't hit.

So it seems its all about the rating, regardless of age or major league experience. !!!!!!

There would never be a reason to trade for a player with D, and you might as well just cut everybody off your roster with D's as they will never get better.

So the bottom line is, Just fill your rosters with the best rated player, regardless of age, and cut all low rated players. Don't even waste your time.

If you have a 19 year old Minor leaguer that is a C+ over all, and a 27 year old Major leaguer that is a C-.. You might as well send him down and bring up the rookie..

I would like to think I'm wrong, But it seems to be that simple. !

lin last years the younger players would get better and the older ones would get worse at the end of the season. in this years i think(dont have the game yet) that how a minor leaguer progresses is calculated by how much money you put in to your player developmet and scouting in your franchise. hope i can help.

I'm pretty sure their ratings change at the end of the year, if not sooner. At least they did in last year's game (I'm only in June of my first franchise this year).
