That's my plan, too... I want to go to one last game at the old dump in Queens, then make my way back for a game in Citi Field.

I too, am planning on attending a game somehow, someway. My brother is a big Yankee fan who has never made it out to the Bronx to see them play at home. We gotta do it this year.

The gold "Yankee Stadium" is a nice touch.

Does it remind anyone of Polo Grounds, or am I the only one that sees a resemblance? The entrance reminds me of some historic ballpark.
Cost of Super Bowl XLII ticket -$750

I'm not familiar with the entrances to famous old ballparks, but that sign gives me goosebumps for some reason. Looks like its going to be a great place to see some baseball!

Not sure about the Polo Ground entrance.

This is the entrance to the old Yankee Stadium:

                Not the same but similar.

On the outside, new Yankee Stadium will easily be the best looking in baseball, but unfortunately, the Starship Enterprise decided to land just behind the center field wall, making the inside "meh".

If there was a stadium that needed to be tore down,..then it had to be Shea. I mean Shea Stadium is like a pimple on 60 year hooker's rear end.

Not too hard but might not be easy to get them at regular price.

Do you have a link to a pic of the inside? Or maybe I didn't see it in the construction photos...

I know one guy who has 4 season tickets (box seats) and the Yanks just contacted him to tell him the seats are going up $18 a game, each, for the new stadium.

The new stadium looks badass on the outside, I love the lattice work or whatever you want to to call it going around the entire roof again. It's sad to see the old stadium go but I'm not gonna lie, I'm pumped for the new one.

yeah - i heard some guy on the FAN complain about his tix going up.. Shea needed to go (& I am a Met fan).. but for all intent and purposes, Yankee Stadium needed to stay. Never have I been to a park & felt the echos of players past - I seem to always get "the chills" thinking about the great players that played on that field..
