Can you give some in game decisions that the AI made that were poor? Isnt it good that MVP has a cutoff man like WSB didnt have last year?

By the way I do care. I want some specific examples. And if you dont give me any we can all assume you are an anti-EA fanboy...

I don't really understand why i have to explain myself to someone who talks crap in every post they make. I know you're on a message board, but please stop acting like you're 12 years old when speaking to others...

1. screwed up sim engine
What i saw with the beta version I played (btw people, in the industry, beta means final...you dont change beta code...you fix crash bugs, thats all. So when people come on here and say, oh the animations aren't fixed yet, but it's only a beta version...they don't add such vital pieces of the game as animations after the game is beta) were horrible sim numbers. Medicore pitchers winning 22 games, teams that are perennial playoff contenders winning a third of their games, so on.

2. throwing meter
a windup throwing meter for fielding. Have you ever heard of a third baseman playing the ball on a hop and then softly throwing across his body to first? Why would you ever want to throw the ball slow? That's too much for the user to do. Also, the running animations are purposely slowed down to compensate for the throwing meter, so that the runner doesn't always beat the throw. It seems like they just made throwing and running different to put it on the back of the box.

I meant half-finished animations. I had a runner round third after I already had the ball in the third baseman's glove. My third baseman reached down along the side of the bag facing 2nd to apply the tag. The runner was already around third, he kept running and I didnt have time to throw home before my stupid tag anim played out. The runner scored.

I don't really care what you or anybody on a messageboard on the internet think(s) of me. I'm too old for that crap. MVP is just too buggy for my tastes. That's all I meant. That's the last post I'll make on this subject.

Part of it is that people come on here all the time and say SO CASUALLY that "oh ive played it already" AND THEY KNOW that one of us is going to ask them how they got to play it before its released. And then they go and act suprised when we check them on it......

I mean you said "ive played them all already" so casually. Your going to tell me that you didnt expect that someone was going to ask you some questions.

If you were a nice person you would give us all some "beta" reviews. I know I would do that for this board if I got my hands on something early.

Anyways you have answered my questions and for that I give you credit.

And then they go and act suprised when we check them on it......

MVP sounds horrible. I take the guy with the beta at his word. MVP, new game, reworked, first generation= it's probably going to be a wait until next year. Just my humble opinion.
