fantasy draft

is there a fantasy draft in this game? is it fair in terms of drafting players? i'm wondering because i have NBA 2K3( i know high heat isn't made by sega) and usually the first pick is alonzo mourning. he is pretty much retired right now. i was wondering if this happens in HH like say someone who should retire is the first pick?

Yes there is a fantasy draft option. You also have the choice of how the draft will run (normal, snake, random). Random creates a new draft order for each round. Normal runs like the NFL draft, i.e. If you're #7, you'll be #7 every round. Snake reverses the order each round, so you'll be #7, then #23, then #7, etc...

I ran through a couple of drafts just to get a feel for the process before I commit a season to one. A-Rod was the #1 pick both times, but the others did seem to change a bit. Most of the picks made sense, but I felt that guys like Edgar Martinez went too high (2nd round once, I think).

ok. ya i hate that snake type draft sometimes. its alright if your playing fantasy baseball with 10 friends but 32 teams would suck. i think i'll be doing the random draft a lot.
