    Zone Hitting?

Trying to understand how it differs from easy.
Do you have to use the left analog stick to guess where in the strike zone the pitch will be located or is that if you swing at a pitch in the strike zone your chances of contact increase (like HH). I get NO K's on Easy batting.
Things are looking up for sports gaming!

I know i'll get made fun of for being too old, but do you have to use the analog stick? Will the trusty ol' D-pad not work?

I'll be honest with you, If I could rig up and old NES controller (the little rectangular ones) and make it workon a ps2, i'd do it!

My understanding of it is that you choose the area of the strikezone you want to swing at with the left thumbstick. Not sure about the d-pad. I've actually gone back to cursor batting, because zone seems to be almost unforgiving if you choose the wrong part of the plate.

u use the Left analog stick to swing where the pitch is. If it's low and away you push the stick in the "downright" position.

So the D-pad is of no use for batting?
