Best way to add prospects?

    Best way to add prospects?

    I was creating the 3 top pitching prospects for the A's (Harden, Rheinecker, & Wood), but when I try to add them to my minor league roster they get claimed by another team.

    I ended up just starting over and editing existing players, but you can't change their batting/throwing or their position.
    What's the best way to add prospects for our minor league teams?

      Just edit a player that has the same throwing arm (right/left) who's in your minor league system.

          Just edit a player that has the same throwing arm (right/left) who's in your minor league system.

              I eventually did that but I didn't have a guy at the same position that had the same batting/throwing attribute, for some other prospects.

                      If you create a player, you have to be quick about signing, because created players go right into free agency, not your minor leagues.

                          If you create a player, you have to be quick about signing, because created players go right into free agency, not your minor leagues.

                              When you sign them they go onto your mlb roster, though. As soon as you try to move them down, they get claimed by another team. It would be nice to have another attribute for pro/prospect. That way they could get created with options, like most of the players in the minors.

                                      Can't you put them into the minors before you start a francise without worrying about someone else signing them? I have not tried this yet, but should be able to do it under roster management
                                      Cartman: It's a man's obligation to stick his boneration in a woman's separation, this sort of penetration will increase the population of the younger generation.

                                              trade one of your minor prospects for a prospects that has the propper hand and position, then edit him.
