I have read a lot abou MVP baseball and it sounds like it could be a great game, but this biggest problem I have with it is the lack of an edit player. There are so many players who's ratings I edit over the coarse of the year as they have breakout seasons. I mean, how fun would it have been to be playing with junior spivey last year with his ratings at the begining of the season. This makes sense to me, but when I think about it, it seems kinda like a dumb reason not to get a game. What do you guys think?

to me it would be a dumb reason. but i guess some people really care about it. i also think it'd dumb of EA to leave it out in the first place. -

Depends...you like to edit players. Since MVP won't let you edit them it would seem to me the game will not give you full enjoyment.
Personally I like to play with old time rosters. If a game won't let me edit, then I won't buy it.
