To cut down on the amount of injuries your team may be suffering....INCREASE the funding to your TRAINERS

To try and increase the HEAL time of alot of your injured players faster than the games noted injury time, INCREASE the amount of funding to your MEDICAL STAFF.

Of course nothing is garunteed but, it does help...especially if you have a roster full of veteran players......keep them protected, or you WILL lose them.

I remember someone on my team last year getting knocked out with a broken orbital socket and I laughed because I thought it was an odd injury to have in a game. Sure enough, a week later, Milton Bradley caught a ball with his face in real life and broke his orbital socket. So, this just adds to the game's realism.

Well I had an injury in my franchise. Not the standard one mentioned above but to my surprise I was informed the my first baseman Travis Hafner has diarrhea and asked if I wanted to put him on the DL. Now that's realism. Nice job Acclaim

Yeah...I had a guy go down with diarrhea as well....

The game can be kind of vicious though...Rivera ended up getting meningitis!

I've had days where I've had diarrhea that bad, namely after stopping and eating in Yuma, AZ. That was a mistake.

He was only put on the 15-day DL, but I don't think he's come off it yet.

Pretty good, considering meningitis can kill you. I'm keeping a watch on when he actually comes back.

yeah hopefully he makes it back. I wonder if your guy comes down with meningitis and say u pay ur trainers crap if ur guy would get so bad he'd have to retire? I mean wouldn't that suck for your team if say AROD came down with it and was forced to retire!
