That sure is different I actually am alot more patient in this game and it pays off , Last night The Phillies walked me with the bases loaded twice .

I could never walk last year, but a couple of games ago i drew 11(!) walks, they even walked kirk reuter twice. I got beaned w/Alfonso and he faked like he was gonna charge the mound then just started flexing like a gorilla, it was awesome -

Yeah, i've gotten quite a bit of walks too. It's great. One thing though, i'm not giving up many walks. My team has fewer walks than any other team BY FAR!Comment

Do you guys try to be patient when your batting or do u swing a pretty much anything except if u know it way out of the zone?
If your being paitent how long does it take u to play the full 9 innings that way?

most of my games take 35-45 mins. And if you dont have the time to finish it you can always save in mid game

I turn the generated counts on - makes if fairer to me and the computer... it makes it easier for me to walk, and also for me to have to walk the other team if I guy walks up to the plate with a 3-0 count. The best part is the fatigue of the pitcher goes down in accordance to the "pitches" of the generated count.Politics is like driving. Put it in R to go backwards. Put it in D to go forwards.Comment

I don't know if I like that at all. Generated pitch counts. I usually throw balls...just like a real pitcher would anyway...in hopes that the batters will chase something off the plate and that their odds of making solid contact will decrease. Seems to work for me.Comment

I've found that if you want to get the computer to stike out, you have to throw a few balls here and there. You really can set them up with your pitches.Comment
