High Heat 2004 PS2 - Can you confirm this possible bug?

I am trying to decide whether to buy HH2004 and I have posted this on other forums but nobody has answered me. I have seen this possible bug in the PS2 version posted elsewhere and would like to know whether it is true. This isn't the infamous "3rd out bug".

    Here is the situation:

Player 'A' is on second base with 2 out.
Player 'B' hits a gapper to leftfield.
    Player 'A' scores.
Player 'B' is thrown out trying to stretch a double into a triple AFTER player 'A' scores.
    The run isn't counted.

Can someone with the game please try to reproduce this situation and confirm or deny whether the bug is in fact true? I would really appreciate your help!

I've heard this somewheres else, along with the 2 out bug on 3rd. There's a way to take add or take a run off the board. Are you aware how to do it? It's easy and works.

I had one close call it was really hard to tell if the guy crossed before the tag, so I am not sure on this one.

            The 'Game State' code is:

While playing, pause it before the pitch and press:

Square twice, O twice, L1, R1 then All 4 shoulder buttons at once. If done correctly, you should hear the announcer laugh, and it will open up a new menu.
            Vi Veri Universum Vivus Vici

"Do you know how to catch a ball with no eyes, and stubby hands?.......You catch it with your heart"

It happened to me. The runner was thrown out at second at least a full second after the runner had been called safe.

But it appears that the code provides a solution to that.

The only thing about using the code is that your players stats will still be messed up, like the run had counted.

yeah, i forgot ot mention that. The box score and stats will still have the run counted/not counted, but the score will be right.
