Last night I started an expansion franchise just to check it out and is it nice. Since I live in Fayetteville, AR I chose Little Rock as my home town and chose a tiny little dome stadium to be my home field. I picked the Arkansas Outlaws as my mascot. I then proceeded to the expansion draft where I picked a good mix of young and old players. My most notable acquisitions were Mo Vaughn, Andy Pettite and Jason Kendall. This game is extremely deep .It's stuff like this that keeps you coming back to play.
I've been a HH'er since '99 and I had a hard time adjusting to hitting from HH. I tried the zone batting but is pretty unforgiving so I finally settled on classic which seems to best suited for me. If you have any doubts about buying this game then rent it and see for yourself. I guess I just got tired of HH and ASB has been a pleasant surprise.
