Exactly. I'm getting it because it looks fun. Not because I'm some "EA sheep" as some people like to call EA consumers but because it looks fun.

Those videos look great, and I'm about 99% ready to get MVP. Still confused about one thing: in the batting video, he said that since it's all about timing, as long as you time it right you'll make contact. I hope that's not a 100% true statement. I mean, if you've got Rey Ordonez going up against Randy Johnson in the 1st inning of a game (Johnson with no fatigue), and Johnson hits the corner perfectly with a monster slider, is Rey going to be getting a hit even if he times his swing right??? In real life, the answer is no, because Ordonez is such a poor batter that even if he times things righ he's still gonna miss (most of the time, anyway). Basically, the very elite pitchers should be hard to hit no matter what the timing, no? Anyone think they can clarify this at all? In any case, that's just being nitpicky, because MVP is looking like a clear #1 or #2 (to high-heat) baseball game this year.

From what i've read timing the pitch when your hitting is alot harder than it seems so you'll have your share of K's.
